Adult Sunday School

The Adventurers Class will be studying “Favorite Bible Passages” during September through November. Room 201 on Sundays at 9:45 AM.

The Agape Newcomers Sunday school class will dive into Max Lucado's book "Fearless – Imagine Your Life Without Fear.” Room 202 on Sundays at 11:00 AM.

The Christian Life Class is studying David right now and we will also be starting the church’s Living Generously on September 23rd.  We also SERVE Micah breakfasts quarterly.  Stop by anytime in Room 210 at 9:45 AM.Join us in Room 210 at 9:45 AM.

The Christianity and Current Events Round Table, designed to help members relate our faith to daily living, selects a current topic in the news and seeks to answer: "What is 'the', or sometimes ‘a’ Christian resolution to this issue? We meet in the Church Parlor (Room 107) on Sundays at 9:45 AM.

The Contemporaries Sunday school group will begin a new fall study based around the book titled 'If God Is Love: Rediscovering Grace In An Ungraceful World', written by Phillip Gulley and James Mulholland beginning in September. Room 210 on Sundays at 11:00 AM.  Join us after 9:45 service and let's continue the conversation.

The Faith and Fellowship Class  meets every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in room 202. We use a variety of books which stimulate discussion, and leadership is shared by class members . We also participate in church-wide Lenten and Advent studies. Our class serves breakfast to the Micah community once a month in the FUMC lower kitchen. The Girlfriends Sunday school class is a supportive group of women of any age who come together each Sunday, September through May, to share about our lives, pray for each other, and study. We meet periodically during the summer months and also do service work together. We alternate between inspirational material and biblical studies. We welcome honest thoughts and questions and welcome visitors to our group. The class meets Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in room 208. For more information contact Rona Costello, 540-373-1296.

The Wayfarers Sunday school class will complete their study of Calls in the Bible in September, followed by the church-wide stewardship study in October. In November, the class will study Paul's letter to the Philippians. Join us on the lower level in the Fellowship Hall on Sundays at 9:45 AM.

The Wesley Forum Sunday school class will begin with a study of the book entitled “When Did God Become a Christian? Knowing God Through the Old and New Testaments” by David Kalas. We will follow that with a study of the book “Revival – Faith as Wesley Lived It” by Adam Hamilton. Room 209 on Sundays at 9:45 AM.
