Scouts at FUMC
First through fifth grade boys can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Built a birdhouse? Played Ultimate? Hiked? These are just a few of the things you will enjoy with Cub Scout Pack 170!

- While space is limited we do have some spots currently open for kids in 1st grade (or 7 years old) through 5th grade

Girl Scouts - Troop 263
Founded at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, on March 11, 2007, Girl Scout Troop 263 is a multi-level troop with girls from the Daisy level (kindergarten) through the Ambassador level (senior in high school). In the Girl Scout tradition, the leadership strives to guide our girls to grow to be strong women; women who have strong work ethics, possess strong values, become strong leaders, and be sisters to every Girl Scout.
Troop 263 is an extremely active troop serving our church, our community, and our world.
Activities include, but are not limited to: archery, camping, geocaching, hiking, crafts, badge earning, community service, travel, high adventure, and STEM.
Meets every Friday from 4:30-5:45 p.m. in Kobler Hall.

Boy Scout Troop 170 is one of the oldest troops in Virginia. The boys enjoy camping, hiking, and great adventures. The troop has produced many Eagle Scouts.
