Preschool Registration and Class Information
Registration dates for Fall 2020
Tuesday, January 21: Registration for the new school year begins via email for current students. Information and details will be sent home in student folders.
Monday, January 27: Registration begins via email for church members, alumni families, and siblings of our current students. The registration form is available below. Forms are also available on the preschool bulletin board in the church hallway near the Charlotte Street reception desk. Registration for church members, alumni families, and siblings of our current students can be completed by email, beginning on Monday, January 28 at 10:00am. Sunday, February 2: Registration opens to the public. The registration form is available below. Forms are also available on the preschool bulletin board in the church hallway near the Charlotte Street reception desk. Registration will be held in-person at the preschool office on Sunday, February 3 from 2:00 to 3:00pm and will continue after this date during regular preschool office hours. Classes for the 2020-2021 school year include:

Classes meet from 9:00am until 12:00noon each day. We have one 4s Mon/Weds/Fri Extended Day class that meets from 9:00am until 1:00pm
All students registering for a class for 2 & 1/2-year-olds must turn two years old by March 31, 2020. This ensures that they will be at least 2 & 1/2 when school starts in September. Children who do not meet this age requirement will be placed on a waiting list and offered a placement if and when a space becomes available.
All students enrolled in a 3s or 4s class must be fully potty-trained before the first day of school.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $50 due at the time of registration. Only one registration fee is charged per family.
A non-refundable supply fee is charged per child and is based on the number of days each child attends. The supply fee and first month's tuition is due by August 1 to verify that your child will be attending preschool in September as planned. We will provide a reminder to you about this fee during the summer. For future reference, supply fees are as follows:
2 days per week = $75 3 days per week = $80
For families having more than one child in FUMC Preschool, tuition for the second child is reduced by $10 per month. We also offer a 3% discount if the yearly tuition is paid in full by check prior to August 1.
Limited scholarship funds are available on a yearly basis. Scholarship applications are available in the preschool office. Completed applications are sent to the FUMC Preschool Board of Directors for review, and funds are distributed based on financial need.
