Contemporary Worship

Sunday 9:45 a.m.
In Kobler Hall
Contemporary Worship at FUMC offers a fresh and joyful worship experience. Our Praise Bands lead us in energetic congregational singing of praise songs. These services are relaxed, casually-dressed, interactive and multi-media. But while the style may be very modern, the message is the eternal and unchanging Good News.

Traditional Worship

Sunday 8:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
In Sanctuary

Traditional worship at FUMC is based on the historic pattern found in the United Methodist Book of Hymnal. Here you find a combination of both written and extemporaneous prayers, congregational hymns, choral music accompanied by pipe organ, multiple scripture readings and sermons strongly based in scripture inviting us into a closer relationship with God. This more formal worship style evokes a sense of majesty and glory, calling us to reverence and awe.

Holy Communion, the sharing together of the Body and Blood of Christ, is celebrated at all services. In the United Methodist Tradition all persons are welcome to participate and to receive regardless of age or church membership.
Holy Baptism, our initiation into the Body of Christ, is celebrated at all services. An opportunity to reaffirm baptismal vows is also available during the church year. We baptize persons of all ages. For more information about scheduling an baptism, you can speak to one of the pastors or call the church office at 373-9021.
