The Sanctuary Choir sings for all 11:00 a.m. services in the Sanctuary. This choir performs music from Bach to Modern Contemporary. They rehearse every Wednesday from 7:15 until 9:00 p.m. in the Choir Room (#113). We are most happy to have new singers who have the desire to learn to sing. Sight reading is a plus but not a necessity. This choir performs special Cantata and Mission related Concerts. PLEASE COME AND HELP US MAKE A JOYFUL SOUND UNTO THE LORD.
The Praise Team is made up of people of all ages and abilities and is led by singer/song-writer and musician Spike Burton. It works as a small group, where we lean on each other and bare one another’s burdens through prayer and open communication. We are committed to our call to lead others in the worship of God through music, and because of this recognize that every member of the team is in fact a “worship leader.” Every rehearsal begins and ends with prayer, has an in-depth study of God’s Word, and the sharing of prayer concerns. We lead worship at both the Saturday 5:30 pm Open Door service, as well as the 9:45 Contemporary Service on Sunday mornings. We rehearse every Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 pm. or call Spike Burton if you are interested in becoming a team member:(540) 226-7346.
