We strive to be continually growing in our relationship with Christ through prayer, studying His word, fellowship and service.

Small Groups are a great way to grow in faith, practicing accountability and becoming stronger disciples for Christ.

Despite the fast-paced and busy life, we need to be connected to a caring community where you feel like you belong. It is our goal that at Fredericksburg UMC everyone is connected to the body of Christ through small groups.

Small Groups are groups of 10-14 people that meet regularly. There are various small group opportunities at FUMC which you are encouraged to try out.  Some are Bible studies, book clubs or Methodist organizations;  while others are regular Sunday School classes and Covenant Groups.  Either way each group is a family that come together in church and outside of church to grow and serve together.   Feel free to check any out when you can, you don't need an invitation we are happy to have you!

SINKs and DINKs are shorthand for Single Income No Kids, and Double Income No Kids. SINKs and DINKs have a different life experience than do people with children. Most adults bond over their children and their children’s activities. In fact, when most adults meet, after questions about career, the next question is about finding commonalities about children. Having this different life experience sometimes makes it hard to find each other. According to the recent church survey, there are many SINKs and DINKs and we would like to facilitate that connection forming a service and social small group opportunity. So, let us know who you are!  Drop us a line at .

It is open to all moms who have children from birth through kindergarten. Childcare is provided with membership. Come join us and know that you are not alone on your mothering journey.   Check out our website or  Contact Allison Xanthopoulos.
