Contemporary Worship

  • Contemporary - Sunday, 9:45 am in Kobler Hall

Contemporary Worship at FUMC offers a fresh and joyful worship experience. Our Praise Bands lead us in energetic congregational singing of praise songs. These services are relaxed, casually-dressed, interactive and multi-media. But while the style may be very modern, the message is the eternal and unchanging Good News.

Traditional Worship

  • Sunday, 8:30 am in our Sanctuary
  • Sunday 11:00 am in our Sanctuary

Traditional worship at FUMC is based on the historic pattern found in the United Methodist Book of Hymnal. Here you find a combination of both written and extemporaneous prayers, congregational hymns, choral music accompanied by pipe organ, multiple scripture readings and sermons strongly based in scripture inviting us into a closer relationship with God. This more formal worship style evokes a sense of majesty and glory, calling us to reverence and awe.

Our Hope

Worship is the place where we come to know God in prayer, music, inspirational preaching, and meaningful time together as a community of faith. In worship we come to be touched by God’s presence and spirit. Each of our spirit-filled worship services offers a distinctive style and flavor in an open and inviting setting. If you want to worship in a community where your mind is challenged, your faith is ignited, and your heart is prepared to go out into the world, then come and find the presence of God as you worship with us.
