Ash Wednesday is a time of naming brokenness. As we enter the season of Lent, we commit to entering also into a season of healing and recovery that requires the naming of what has been shattered as a first step. Jesus promises that he is with us in our weariness and burdens.

Options for worship & fellowship: 
9:30 AM Fit-Faith & Fun morning Prayer walk - Join other moms, parents & toddlers as we walk from the Charlotte st. parking lot, to the riverfront park where we'll get some light exercise in plus walk the area and pray for those in need. 

Noon(12:00 PM) Community Ash Wednesday service in the Sanctuary- hosted by FUMC for all the downtown Micah Ecumenical churches 

3:00 - 7:00 PM - Open chapel in our 2nd floor chapel space for prayer and imposition of ashes 

5:00 -6:30 PM - Pancake dinner hosted by our United Methodist Men (donation proceeds to benefit their mission and programs) in Kobler Hall. All-you-can-eat plain and blueberry pancakes (GF option too) and sausage! 

6:00 PM - Kid/Family-friendly worship service in the sanctuary led by our Children's Ministry director

7:30 PM - Traditional service in the Sanctuary with the imposition of ashes
