Girl Scouts - Troop 263
Founded at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, on March 11, 2007, Girl Scout Troop 263 is a multi-level troop with girls from the Daisy level (kindergarten) through the Ambassador level (senior in high school). In the Girl Scout tradition, the leadership strives to guide our girls to grow to be strong women; women who have strong work ethics, possess strong values, become strong leaders, and be sisters to every Girl Scout. Troop 263 is an extremely active troop serving our church, our community, and our world. Activities include, but are not limited to: archery, camping, geocaching, hiking, crafts, badge earning, community service, travel, high adventure, and STEM.
We meet every Friday from 4:30 - 5:45 PM in Kobler Hall. Contact Leigh Sutton for more information.
Our will be completing a take-action project as part of their Explore Williamsburg patch in October. The girls are asking for the following donations to support the Avalon Center, a place where women and children can go if they are facing issues of abuse: Rolls of toilet paper, deodorant, and full size bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Please deposit items in the collection box of Mission Control by Wednesday, October 11th to support their cause.
