Upward Basketball at FUMC

We are so excited for a new season of Upward basketball. This will be our Lucky 13th season hosting a league, and we hope you and your family will join us this year.

Our league will run throughout January, February, and early March 2026, with evaluations in November 2025. The league is open to players in kindergarten up through 8th grade. Each team will practice 1 night a week and play 1 game a week. K-6 practices will be held Monday - Friday with games on Saturday. 7/8 will practice on Thursday evenings and have games on Friday night.

Here is a timeline (subject to change) of what to expect this year:
Registrations will open 10/19.
Evaluations will be Sat 11/15 (These evals are for K-6 but are not required for 7th/8th graders. Watch for an email after you register to sign up for a time slot.)
Practices will start the week of 1/2025
Games will start 1/9-10
The last games of the season will end 2/27-28, with a make-up week on 3/2-3/7
The price is $105 per child, with a $5 discount for subsequent siblings registered. Scholarships are available if needed
