Upward Basketball at FUMC

We are so excited for a new season, in 2027, of Upward basketball.
This will be our 14th season hosting a league and we hope YOU and your family will join us this year.

We offer programs for Kindergarten through 8th grade. All 7th and 8th graders practice on Thursday evenings and play games on Friday evenings. K-6th have practice 1 night a week (Mon - Fri) and play games on Saturdays.

Our season runs from the beginning of January through the end of February (with the 1st week of March reserved for severe weather make-ups).

Here is a timeline (subject to change) of what to expect this year:
Registration Begins: 10/11/2026 12:00 am
Registration Ends: 11/07/2026 11:59 pm

First Practice: week of 12/28/2026
First Game: week of 01/04/2027

Evaluations will be Sat 11/14/2026
(These evals are for K-6 but are not required for 7th/8th graders. Watch for an email after you register to sign up for a time slot.)

The price is $112 per child. Scholarships are available if needed

Registration on the website opens on 10/11
(Please note, spaces FILL UP QUICKLY! We were full within less than a week in 2024!)
