Seedtime: Giving our First and Best to God
Galatians 6:1-10 and Matthew 25:14-30
1. As children of God, we are commanded to give. Ask God where He wants you to plant seeds. Pray for courage to take generous risks in order to serve God well.
“Dear God, I hold the power to spread your love. Show me how to break through the fear and spread it with joy. You gave your only son for me. I can never repay that sacrifice. I can, however, follow your guidance and trust you to lead me to take the risks that serve you well. Take my hand, show me the way.”
2. Living generously often involves making lifestyle changes. Pray that God will help you put your trust in Him to provide what you need under any economic circumstance. Pray that God will give you an eternal perspective regarding your possessions, believing that living generously will bring you more joy than anything you could ever own here on earth.

Series Information
In this series, you will see a family take risks, experience suffering, doubt and joy while we reflect upon biblical precepts of "giving God our best." Moreover, you will see what happens when the family chooses to embrace a generous life in the midst of uncertainty. Like them, you will be invited into a transformational process concluding with our church-wide pledging for 2019 church ministry support in worship Saturday/Sunday on October 20-21, 2018.
