You are invited, along with all the churches that make Micah, for this Community Prayer Walk through downtown Fredericksburg as we come together in faith to pray for our community.

Saturday, October 17, 2026
Prayer Walk: 9:00–11:00 a.m.
Gathering Time: 8:45 a.m.
Starting Location: Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site)
525 Princess Anne Street
Fredericksburg, VA

Our theme is “One Community, One Church, Many Prayers.”

The Prayer Walk will cover approximately one mile through the downtown Fredericksburg area. Along the way, we will stop at several locations to offer focused prayers for the people, organizations, and institutions that serve and strengthen our community.

Our prayer stops will include areas representing:

· City Government and the Courthouse — praying for our elected officials, public servants, justice, wisdom, and good leadership.

· Schools — praying for our children, youth, teachers, administrators, and families.

· Local Businesses — praying for business owners, employees, economic stability, and a thriving community.

· Micah Ministries — praying for those experiencing homelessness and other challenges, as well as those who faithfully serve them.

· Nearby Neighborhoods — praying for families, seniors, children, safety, unity, healing, and hope throughout our community.

This is an opportunity for us to join with others, to come together across congregational lines with one purpose: to lift the Fredericksburg community before God in prayer. Whether your church brings a few representatives or a larger group, we would be delighted to have you walk and pray with us.
