DIRECTOR OF CHILREN'S MINISTRIES:
Fredericksburg United Methodist Church is a mission-driven church seeking to hire a collaborative, energetic, and creative Director of Children’s Ministries who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of younger disciples to follow the teachings of Jesus for the transformation of the world. This person will plan, develop, and direct our thriving (PreK through 5th grade) children’s ministry program in collaboration with our parent volunteers and ministry teams. Responsibilities include thinking intentionally about community development, diverse educational opportunities, and developing/supporting all volunteers and committee teams. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week.
Qualifications include:
College education or work experience in child education or early childhood development or at least 2-3 years work experience in Christian Education.
The minimum age requirement is 21 years.
