ALL ABOUT THE LIBRARY . . .AND A BOOK SWAP
The JOY Group will welcome Erin Creighton from the Fredericksburg Branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library to tell us about the library and the services it offers.
- Did you know that the library has a “seed library” where you can acquire seeds for your backyard garden?
- Did you know that the library has adult reading challenges [Summer Reading Challenge begins on May 15]?
- Did you know that the library has a sewing machine and an embroidery machine [And other equipment that can be used]?
- Did you know that the library has a Civil War Book Group?
OUR SPEAKER: Erin Creighton is the Adult Services Department Head and Assistant Branch Manager for the Fredericksburg Branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library. She began working in libraries in 1999 and enjoys connecting customers to resources at the library. Erin enjoys reading all genres, especially if she can find them on audiobook. She has worked for Central Rappahannock since 2019.
BOOK SWAP: Bring a book to swap! Do you have a book that you enjoyed reading that you would like to pass along? Wrap up the book and note on the outside of the package the genre of the book. Then, pick a book to take home from those that others have brought.
Volunteers needed: If you would like to help with refreshments, please let Coleen McDonald at know.
